Global Challenge Bonuses are live in Wizards Unite!

As you all know by now, four Dragons have been introduced at the first Wizards Unite Fan Festival, and will now spread around the world, each in their respective regions as follows:

  • Peruvian Vipertooth – Americas and Greenland
  • Chinese Fireball – Asia, The Middle East, and India
  • Common Welsh Dragon – Europe and Africa
  • Antipodean Opaleye – Oceania

Returning a total of 150,000 Dragons unlocked a special 3-hour Day of the Dragons event on September 7 in your region at the following times:

  • Asia-Pacific: September 7, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. AEST (UTC +10)
  • Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India: September 7, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. UTC
  • Americas and Greenland: September 7, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PDT (UTC -7)

This has also unlocked an additional Dragon to spawn in region it is not specific to for the duration of the Day of the Dragons as follows:

  • Chinese Fireball – Americas and Greenland
  • Antipodean Opaleye – Asia, The Middle East, and India
  • Chinese Fireball – Europe and Africa
  • Chinese Fireball – Oceania

Players have also unlocked the four following bonuses, which will be live from September 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. EST until September 9 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Note that the 25% Wizarding XP Bonus applies to anything providing Wizarding XP!

Some Tips

  • Team up with some friends to make the most out of Wizarding Challenges and gain maximum Wizarding XP!
  • Don’t forget to use your Barrufio’s Brain Elixir for even more Wizarding XP!
  • Brew and USE your potions! Don’t just stock them! Half the brewing time will help make sure you can use potions AND always have them in stock!
  • Stocked on Coins? Use them on Silver Keys to unlock more Portkeys, get more Wizarding XP and more Fragments towards your Registry!

All things considered, this is extremely exciting!

This is a very similar format as what has been seen in Pokémon GO when the Legendary Birds were introduced after the first Pokémon GO Fest. Let’s just pray that the event isn’t a disaster as GO Fest was. 😉
