Don’t adjust your screen, you read correctly. A new Harry Potter adventure will soon land on mobile devices titled Magic Awakened, but the game is likely to be released in China before the rest of the world.
According to a joint press release, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and Netease are developing a Harry Potter themed mobile game under the label of Portkey Games.
Very few details are available at the time being, other than the game will welcome players as new Hogwarts students who will go on an adventure with other companions. Players will reportedly collect and use magic cards to fight other wizards, which hints towards a card game, a new mobile gaming format extremely popular.
The game will feature magic spells, characters, and fantastic beasts that are well known to the fans.Press Release
